Large Vintage 1960's  MCM ITALIAN Hand Painted Ceramic Reclining ZEBRA Sculpture. It measures an impressive 18" long x 10 1/4" tall x 6 and 1/2 " deep. Beautifully hand painted in naturalistic colors including pink skin tones around his snout and muzzle. It is in very nice vintage condition with light normal surface wear from age and use. There are small glaze flakes to his mane and the eges of his ears. These are glaze flakes only with no chips to the actual ceramic (see close ups). They do not detract given the black and white pallete of the design. Easily touched up if you wish but unnecessary. No chips, cracks or repairs. Hand painted numbers and mark on the inside of the bottom (see photo).Great looking zebra that would complement any Mid Century Modern, Hollywood Regency interior decor. SH at cost.
