This is Schecter's Japanese-made SD-2 model.
It features a gorgeous quilted maple top and alder back,
giving it an appealing model with a rich, full midrange.
The pickups, the key to its sound, are made in Japan.
Both the single-coil MonsterToneJ and the humbucker SuperRockJ have a fast attack,
and as their distinctive appearance suggests, they produce a thick core, the so-called Schecter tone.
The satin-finish maple neck,
the familiar pickup tap switch, and high-cut and low-cut controls allow
a wide range of sound shaping, making this an extremely versatile model.
This is truly a guitar that can be used in any genre!
