Extremely rare two-piece ensemble from Rei Kawakubo’s iconic SS1997 collection, also known as “Lumps and Bumps.”

This series is one of the most influential works in contemporary fashion and examples are held in major museum collections .

This listing includes the complete set:

• Sheer multicolor stretch top (ref. GB-100310)

• Transparent mesh tunic/skirt featuring two original integrated padded cushions, creating the sculptural volumes characteristic of this collection

• All padding is original

Two styling possibilities:

• Worn together, with the mesh piece under the top, to recreate the iconic runway silhouette

• Worn separately, with the mesh piece as a sculptural skirt and the top alone

Composition:

• Top — 80% Polyester, 20% Polyurethane / One Size (no size tag)

• Mesh piece — 67% Nylon, 24% Polyurethane, 9% Nylon mesh

Padding — 90% Down, 10% Feather
