HO Brass Southern Pacific C-40-3 Steel Cupola Caboose #1134 Factory Painted circa 1944-1955. Model Produced in Korea in 1995 for Precision Scale Co. PSC #15300-1.

SP counted 215 C-40-3 steel cupola caboose on their roster beginning in 1940. Car #1134 was built in 1942. This version, with ‘Southern Pacific’ spelled out in serif-type letters represents the prototype between 1944 and 1955. The model is factory painted and lettered. The road began spelling out its name on the caboose sides towards the end of World War II and replaced that with the bold block lettering beginning in 1955.

The model has been used on a layout. The original box is missing. The model is in overall very good condition, with a fine layer of dust that has not been entirely removed.  All original detail is intact, although no window material is present. A suitable box will be provided for safe delivery.
