Original GOLDEN ROD apple box/apple crate label.  From the 1940s for apples distributed by Perham Fruit Corporation in Yakima, Washington. Great image of golden rod flowers on a black background in an art deco style. Golden Rod was Perham's C grade for apples and pears. This version was printed by US Lithograph and has the circle US in the lower right.
