Fannie Kilbourne’s short stories of contemporary early married life were popular in leading magazines on the early 20th century. She was best known for her “Dot and Will” tales, that were later serialized for radio. She was also author of the stories on which the movies “The Major and the Minor” and “You’re Never Too Young,” were based. She died in 1961 at the age of 70.
