Vintage 1970s Rinso Powdered Laundry Detergent • Original classic blue box with the iconic red-dot “i” logo • 44 oz (2 lb. 12 oz.) net weight – “NOW .285 DENSITY FORMULA” • Full, unopened, factory-sealed box (push-in tab still intact, never torn) • Made by Lever Brothers Company, New York, N.Y. 10022 • “Compare and Save” burst and “Powerful Cleaning… Super Value” graphics • Complete original instructions and water-temperature chart on the back and sides • Contains sodium aluminosilicate (for phosphate-restricted areas) – a snapshot of 1970s detergent reformulation Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. The box is structurally solid and still completely full (you can feel and hear the powder inside). Some expected shelf wear, corner/edge wear, and light scuffs from 45+ years of storage (see photos), but no major crushing, water damage, or fading. Colors remain bright and graphics are crisp.
