MOMOSE Custom Craft Guitars is a traditional electric guitar and bass brand named after Yasuo Momose, a senior master builder at the Asuka factory in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture.
The MC is an original model that inherits the traditional ST style while being uniquely refined by Momose.
Every instrument is handcrafted by artisans at the Asuka factory, from woodworking to painting and assembly.
The high playability resulting from this meticulous craftsmanship is highly regarded by many top players and embodies the undeniable quality of the Momose brand.
This guitar is crafted using Burl Tochi, a precious wood treasured by the Asuka factory and selected locally by our shop staff. This is an incredibly luxurious guitar, with a variety of grain patterns, from quilted to flame, to match the gradation color.
The pickup layout is an SSH, which is not available in the MOMOSE ORIGINAL lineup. The bridge pickup is a BEANO, which has just the right amount of power and an Alnico 2 magnet, while maintaining a PAF sound.
Burl refers to the knot that forms at the base of a tree's trunk during its growth process. It does not appear on all trees, and its unique appearance and rarity make it a valuable piece of wood that is traded.
This is a one-of-a-kind item that can only be ordered in our shop, so once it's gone, it's gone.
