Our alternators are made for your car specifically. The alternator will come with a production date on the stator and the housing. (Not like others for sale)

IF YOU WANT THE ALTERNATOR DATED YOU MUST GIVE US THE CARS BUILD DATE AT THE TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE. IF NO DATE IS GIVEN US THE ALTERNATOR WILL COME WITH THE ONES SHOWN IN THE PICTURE

THIS ALTERNATOR HAS THE ENGINEERING STAMPED ON THE FRONT HOUSING USED AFTER FEBRUARY 1969 BUILD DATE CARS

THIS C6AF-10300-A ALTERNATOR WILL FIT THE 1969 Mercury Comet with the 390ci WITH OR WITHOUT P.S  (built after February 1969)

Chargers Auto Electric will warranty and is responsible for the part that was purchased only. We do not offer any form of labor cost, we recommend to fully charge the battery prior to installing any alternator. If the battery voltage is low or a cell is bad the alternator may not perform correctly.
