Vintage Art Deco Sterling Silver Marcasite Green Onyx Ring - Sz 5.5 - Unusual Design -
The beautiful custom cut, pill-shaped green onyx stone is embraced in sterling silver with and adorned with marcasites. It is an uncommon design.
The ring measures 3/4 inches (19mm) north south and 3/8 inches (10mm) wide.
The width of the shoulders is 3/4 inches (19mm) across. The center reaches 5/16 inches (8mm) above the finger.
The band is 1/8 inch (3mm) wide.
The ring is likely from the 1980s. It has no maker's mark and is stamped 925.
The condition is good with some patina to enhance the details. There is one tiny stone missing which is barely noticeable. I had to use magnification to see it clearly.
