Vintage Louis Marx Campus Cuties On The Town 1964 Cream Plastic Woman with Clutch Purse

The Campus Cuties line by Louis Marx was the companies attempt to appeal to girls.  There were 16 Campus Cuties released in 1964.  There were two sets of 8 dolls released.  This figurine, On The Town was part of the first wave.

For a plastic figurine, she is remarkably detailed!  The crease in her gown at the back of her knee, how her dress drapes against the back of her sandals - just an incredible amount of styling and detail.  And of course, she's pink!  I think she is very reminiscent of Jacqueline Kennedy.

Originally used as decor for a wedding in 1965 and stowed away as a memento, she is in excellent vintage condition, with some very light surface wear under the base.  Ships USPS First Class
