Mixed LOT Vintage PEOPLE MAGAZINES Book 1997 1989 San Francisco Earthquake Intriguing Century Special 15 Year Anniversary Issue Print Advertising Ad 

We're doing some downsizing and I recently came across a large plastic tote bin filled with magazines that I had put away to save. While it's great to take a walk down memory lane, it's time for me to move them on to someone else. 

You're looking at a LOT of VINTAGE PEOPLE MAGAZINES

There are TWO (2) magazines & ONE (1) Special Collector's Edition Book included in this lot.

They're been packed away for a few decades but seem to have held up well over time. The magazines shows some wear and tear around the edges from typical age and storage.

Here's a brief description of what's included in this lot

ITEM #1: PEOPLE WEEKLY MAGAZINE - March 6, 1989. Special Anniversary Issue. Our first 15 years 1974 - 1989. A snappy salute to the celebs, heroes, dreamers, whizzes, wackos and other quotable notables who have peopled our pages so far. Plus all of our regular weekly features. 

ITEM #2: PEOPLE WEEKLY MAGAZINE - October 30, 1989. Personal Note: I originally held on to this particular edition because I had just been out the the San Francisco area for a business trip the week immediately BEFORE this absolutely devastating earthquake so it hit especially home to me.  Heroes of the quake. While the aftershocks still rumbled, the people of San Francisco - doctors, firefighters, bus drivers and bystanders - sprang to save their stricken neighbors. Some acted with amazing courage. These are their stories.

Barring any crazy weather/hazardous driving situation, I ship as quickly as possible after receipt of cleared payment.

**I gladly welcome international customers but please be advised that any and all Customs/Duty fees that may incur with the import of items you purchase from me are the responsibility of you, the Buyer. I do reserve the right to cancel bids/refund payments from buyers in countries to which I cannot ship a particular item due to your nation's import restrictions. 

Please base your Feedback/Star Rating of me on things that are within *my* control. I respectfully ask you to realize that while I get your item packaged & off to the Post Office as quickly as humanly possible, I obviously do NOT have any control of how they handle it from there.  After I drop it off at the Post Office, the transit time is in the hands of the trusty Postal Service. They're generally quite efficient but do encounter some delays at times.

Postal rates keep increasing (obviously out of my control) & I carefully weigh the items prior to listing so that there are no surprises when it comes to shipping costs. I do include a very nominal charge to cover my packaging/printing materials. As per ebay guidelines, I ship all items (large or small, heavy or lightweight) with transit tracking. This is for your and my piece of mind & the cost is included with my shipping/handling charges.  While I realize that you are looking for bargains, I too need to be able to cover my expenses.
