Miles Davis – In Person, Friday Night at the Blackhawk, San Francisco, Volume I
Columbia CL 1669 • 1961 • Mono • Original U.S. 6-Eye First Pressing
Early first pressing of this legendary live date, recorded April 21, 1961 at San Francisco’s Blackhawk. This copy features the original red Columbia 6-eye labels, the correct x“LP” 53548/53549 label codes, and the matching XLP 53548-1E / XLP 53549-1AA runout stamps—confirming an early lacquer and authentic first-run pressing. Jacket has a bold at the bottom-left, to the left of the last few lines of the sleeve notes.
