THIS IS A RARE FIND. IT IS A POSTER FOR SHAKESPEARE'S MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM AT THE "VOLKSBUHNE" THEATRE IN EAST GERMANY. THE ORIGINAL ART WAS FROM MAX SCHWIMMER IN 1956 (HE DIED IN 1960). I BELIEVE THIS POSTER IS FROM 1982. IT MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 22 1/2" BY 32". IT WILL BE MAIL ROLLED IN A TUBE (NO FRAME). A MUST HAVE PIECE FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR. |
