Wahoo Kickr Core / Kickr 2018 v4 replacement power connector


This is a replacement for the pigtail power connector stem that sticks out of the back of your turbo trainer (photos 1 and 2) and where the power source connects (like the original in photo 3). If yours has been damaged or isn’t functioning, this can solve your problem (example of damaged connector in photo 4).


Some disassembly of your turbo will be required to fit the new connector. I have prepared instructions for the Kickr 2018/v4 that I can share on request and a link to the repair file will be sent along with a purchase (Ebay no longer allows embedded links in listings). The Kickr Core and 2018/v4 disassembly processes are very similar, there is an additional grub screw on the flywheel shaft that needs to be removed from the Kickr Core.


Suitable for Kickr Core models and Kickr 2018. I've also been assured that these work for Kickr v5, v6 and Kickr Move models with a little bit of modification of the nut that holds the plug in place, but I haven't tested this myself. It should also work with the Core v2 but the disassembly process is slightly different. I have only tested this myself with the Kickr 2018/v4 and the Core v1.


Shipping cost to the EU has changed and there is now a customs fee of €3 for each parcel, plus tax on each additional item. USA has had to be increased as a result of the tariffs that are now in place. This is paid when I am posting, so the postage cost has been amended to account for this. I apologise for the increase in costs, but this isn’t something I can change.

Note that replacement of electrical parts may invalidate your Wahoo warranty. The safety of the electrical connection will be the responsibility of the installer. Each of these plugs are checked for continuity and power-up of a Kickr Core device before sending.
