Warranty Terms & Conditions

Warranty Coverage
Only engines and gearboxes supplied by GP Metals & Spares are covered under our parts 3 Month Warranty. All other items are supplied with a 30-day return policy only, covering the cost of the part itself. No warranty is offered on ancillary, electrical, or body components.

Returns
If you have ordered an incorrect part (for example, where the part number differs), you may return it within 30 days of receipt using a completed Returns Form (see ‘Returns’ section). Upon receiving the returned item, we will dispatch a replacement if available. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued, and you will be notified by email.
Return postage costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

All returned parts must be in the same condition as supplied, complete with all security marks, seals, and labels intact.

Exclusions
GP Metals & Spares does not cover labour costs, fitting, removal, or any associated charges. Warranty or return coverage does not extend to vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential losses of any kind.

Inspection & Reporting
All items must be inspected upon delivery. Any transit damage must be reported within 24 hours, supported by clear photographic evidence (including the packaging and shipping label). Claims reported outside this period may not be eligible for investigation.

Tampering & Modifications
Any signs of tampering, modification, or attempted repair will void warranty and return eligibility.

Installation & Safety
We strongly recommend that all safety-critical parts be fitted by a qualified automotive technician. GP Metals & Spares accepts no responsibility for faults, injury, or damage resulting from incorrect installation or handling.

🚘 Please Note – Wiper Motors & Wiper Mechanisms

All wiper motors and wiper mechanisms are used and graded parts that may show minor cosmetic wear consistent with previous use.
Each unit is tested prior to removal and confirmed to be in working condition, unless otherwise stated in the listing.

Please review all photos carefully, the item shown is the exact one you will receive.
In the rare event that an item is lost or damaged in storage prior to dispatch, we will supply a replacement of equal or better condition where possible.

Please ensure this wiper motor or mechanism is correct for your vehicle before purchasing.
If you’re unsure, contact us with your vehicle registration or VIN, and our support team will be happy to confirm compatibility.

⚠️ Important Information

• Wiper motors and linkages should always be installed by a qualified technician to ensure correct alignment and operation.

• Before fitting, ensure all wiper arms move freely and the linkage pivots are lubricated. A seized linkage may cause damage to the motor if refitted without inspection.

• Some wiper motors may require basic calibration or initialisation through the vehicle’s onboard system following installation.

• GP Metals accepts no responsibility for damage or malfunction caused by incorrect fitting, seized linkages, or electrical faults within the vehicle.

📦 Delivery & Inspection

All items are securely packaged for safe transport.
If your parcel arrives with visible damage, please photograph the packaging before opening, then inspect the item fully.
If any damage is found, contact us within 24 hours with clear photographs so we can open an investigation with the courier.
