From a local estate sale, this is a vintage and hard to find covered onion soup bowl from Homer Laughlin Fiesta.  It is nearly perfect in the  original "radioactive" red glaze and features a glossy and even finish.  It was only produced from November 1935 until late 1937, a short 2 years. There are no cracks, chips or scratches on either piece.  I have tried to provide descriptive photos, see them for details.  It will come to you drowning in bubble wrap and double boxed.
