Author Paul Mosling Morton is a grandson of B. A. Mosling, one of the co-founders of Oshkosh Motor Truck (now Oshkosh Corporation). Paul spent his childhood in and around Oshkosh trucks and their factories and over the years has marveled at the size and durability of these vehicles. His deep-rooted interest in the company spans over 65 years, during which he meticulously accumulated a vast archive of Oshkosh truck information, ensuring the book’s content is comprehensive and historically accurate.
This is the second book in the series; his first book documented the initial years 1874 thru 1969. This volume comprehensively documents the company’s growth from 1970 to 1999 through new product development, defense contracts, and early acquisitions. The book spans 300+ pages of pictures and text. It is printed on quality gloss paper and spiral-bound for easy reading and reference.
His first book, “A History of Oshkosh Motor Truck 1874 to 1969”, as well as an additional book, “Growing up With Oshkosh Mine Trucks” are also available for purchase on eBay.
