This premium Blue Thunder aluminum intake manifold is engineered for the classic Ford 292 and 312 Y-block engines, blending authentic vintage styling with modern precision performance. Each manifold is cast with original-style Ford firing order and casting numbers, delivering a factory-correct appearance while concealing decades of advanced airflow engineering within.

Modified runner design provides smoother air transition for improved low-to-high RPM performance under boosted applications. Precision-machined on a 5-axis CNC machining center for perfect port alignment and sealing surfaces. These manifolds are poured at foundries that are familiar with handling premium aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring strength, consistency, and heat stability. The rear vacuum port connects both upper and lower runners for enhanced engine balance and tuning flexibility. A functional heat chamber is built across the bottom—true to original Ford manifolds—for excellent cold-weather operation. Diamond-cut gasket surfaces allow removal and re-installation during tuning without tearing gaskets. An optional heat block-off is available for a $50 upgrade, utilizing a high-temperature insulator rated to 1,200°F.

Use Fel-Pro intake gasket MS9361B-1, the only gasket Ford has officially recommended for Y-block applications.
