7" Dessert Plate by Edwin M. Knowles.  Back says "Vitreous" and "Patented".  Marking is 19-2-9 which means it was manufactured in 1919.  The plate shows signs of being 100+ years old such as crazing, cracks, etc.  (See pictures for details)  It would be a unique addition for any plate collection.  It is white in color with gold trim that shows wear giving it a "shabby chic" appearance.  If I were decorating a turn of the century home, I'd use it to frame an old picture or place a mirror inside (the inside diameter is 4-3/4") by using a plate hanger.  A beautiful touch for kitchen, bath, bedroom or dressing room.  Please see my store for other pieces in this pattern.

When purchasing multiple items, please wait for my invoice and I will adjust shipping.
