A Victorian footstool / ottoman dating to the latter half of the 19th Century.

Featuring the popular hourglass or waisted pedestal form, giving it a sculptural, elegant profile. It is upholstered in a tightly woven, neutral-toned fabric over the side panels whilst the top cushion is finished in a decorative needlepoint depicting a central floral bouquet. The base features a wood trim, accented by decorative nailhead rivets along the bottom edge. A functional antique piece perfect for adding warmth and texture to an interior.
