1) Is this a Yubikey 5 series or a Security Key Series?
Answer: This is Yubikey 5 NFC series. This is much better than Security Key Series and adds tons of features.
2) Does this have "Basic Compatibility" or "Advanced Compatibility"?
Answer: If you have come across some chart of that, it would be similar to "Advanced Compatibility" as it is the same Yubikey 5 NFC series. It has Yubico OTP, PIV, OATH, OpenPGP, Fido U2F, Fido2 as you can see in the Yubico Authenticator App picture.
3) What is the difference between this and the amazon or official site Yubikey 5 NFC which goes for $50 to $55 per piece?
Answer: Both same official Yubikey 5 nfc series this is just little bit old. They have firmware 5.7 while this is firmware 5.1.2. Most capabilities are same just small improvements such as bigger storage. For 99% of people and use cases it would not affect but it is recommended to do your own research or ask an ai.
4) What is the benefit in buying multiple Yubikeys?
Answer: It is always recommended to have backup of your Yubikeys by having multiple spare keys as your account might get lost forever if you do not properly setup or lose your only key. And another benefit is that you will be saving a lot from us when you buy multiple Yubikeys.
5) How to use in computer or mobile phone?
Answer: Many websites have direct 2 factor authentication. You can directly use it there. You can also use Yubico authenticator app for both desktop and smart phones. In mobile phones that have nfc capability, you can use this by touching at the back of the phone.
6) Can you delete otp slots like short touch?
Answer: Not tinkering with firmware or preventing default otp deletion is part of security feature for Yubikey bulk items. Most people would never need this. No access code for that purpose. In short, the standard way to use this is "Yubico Authenticator" app and you can use it to store accounts and use normally, that's what most people use for. But some people may need to use specialized program or reconfigure otp slot. In that case, otp slot 1 "short touch" cannot be deleted or reconfigured because no access code but otp slot 2 "long touch" can be configured.
7) Condition and shipping?
Answer: They are pulled from huge quantity blister packs, not used before. Hence the condition is open box. Shipping would be using USPS ground (in a padded envelop) from United States for smaller quantity yubikeys. Free shipping in USA. International shipping is handled by ebay themselves.
