This listing is for 2x metal bike rack frames that bolt onto the side of an Erde / Daxara (and other makes) trailer allowing you to take 2 bikes without cluttering the top of the trailer. This has a few advantages over roof mounting:
You can easily access them without causing damage to car paint etc. You can see the trailer easier so reversing is easier. The weight is lower down, and overall height is lower, fitting under low bridges or carparks! You can see them in the mirror easily.
This listing is for the metal bits that bolt to the trailer and squares that allow you to attach 2 roof bike racks to them. As per the last two pictures. This doesn't include the bike roof racks themselves (the silver bits that hold the bikes), but I can Include them if needed/wanted for extra. Message me and I can advise on costs/what's needed etc.
Buying this listing will get you 2x metal frames to bolt to a Erde 143 trailer. If you want this for another trailer please message me to confirm. I can make it to suit others.
To fit these to the trailer, you will need to drill 1 hole in the axel plate and (ideally but not mandatory) 4 holes in the side of the trailer. Doing this makes them strong enough for a 100kg person to stand on them, without flexing/bending etc.
I can supply a fixing kit if needed, which includes the bolts, and drill bit, so all you would need is a drill and 2 spanners.
