This sale is for a vintage Chinese metal ink box that portrays five elders watching a chess game. The legend says that there is a mountain near there named "The Five Old Men Peaks". The box measures 3 inches in width, 4 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/4 inches in height. It has the maker's mark on the bottom tarnish as pictured and ink residue inside the box. The base, made of 2 different pieces of woods, measures 3 1/4 inches in height, 5 inches on the bottom and 1 1/2 inches in thickness. Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.
