War of 1812 Leather Shako Tombstone Pattern Hat. Size: Medium. This hat is museum quality. This is an 1812 pattern U.S. Army Tombstone Shako hat. This hat is made entirely of Black Leather as per the original Shako hats. This hat comes with a large Eagle plate on the front of the hat. This hat has an external plume which is on the left-hand side and is removable. There is a Black Leather Cockade with Eagle in the center on the side of the hat. There is a sweatband that has a draw string liner.  This hat comes with a light leather cape folded around the back of the hat held in place with two U.S. Pewter buttons at the back edge of the brim. A White Wool cord and tassel is attached at the hat. This is a top-quality reproduction War of 1812 Tombstone hat. This is a must for the reenactor.
