Lot of 5 Commemorative Pewter Coins

Major-General Henry Lee III 1779 (Minted 1973)

John E. Howard 1781 (Minted 1973)

General Horatio Gates 1792 (Minted 1976)

George Washington 1776 (Minted 1973)

General Daniel Morgan 1781 (Minted 1973)


Condition:  These striking pewter coins are official Commemorative Military Medals issued by the U.S. Mint, Department of the Treasury. They each honor a Revolutionary War hero and come in its original presentation case, complete with an informational insert about Lee's legacy.

Each has a paper insert that has some age-related discoloration, but the coins are in beautiful condition. I’ve included several clear photos for your review. The Daniel Morgan coin's paper insert has come loose from being attached to the case, but it is still in there (PHOTO #12).  That same one also has two tiny rips and a scratch on the faux velvet part of the case (PHOTO #7).
