The MPX8 is a compact and convenient sample player that allows you to load audio sample data stored on a standard SD card (sold separately) and assign it to eight backlit pads for playback. It is ideal for studios and live performances, as well as for creating sound effects for plays, streaming videos, etc.
●Control external MIDI devices too
MPX8 is equipped with standard MIDI input/output terminals, so it can be connected to external MIDI devices using the included "1/8 - MIDI conversion cable". You can play audio from an external MIDI sound source by hitting the MPX8's pads, and you can also play MPX8 audio samples from an external MIDI controller.
●Easy to edit
Using the included MPX8 sample kit editor (provided as a download), before loading audio samples into the MPX8, you can set parameters such as tuning, reverb, trigger type, level, pan, and MIDI note number, and format them in a format compatible with MPX8. You can easily perform conversions on your computer.
●Loop library included
MPX8 has 21 built-in audio samples, including vintage drum machine sounds, sound effects, and bass sounds, and a loop library can be downloaded for free from the AKAI professional website. This is a simple and convenient sample player that can be used in a variety of genres and scenes with these audio samples and your own original samples in a compact body.
