A great antique Delft Makkum Monkey Milk Jug,  9 1/2" tall and 5 " wide ( spout-to-handle). Marked Makkum to the underside.

The inscription reads "Kees de Aap dat Gekkie geeft melk uit zijn bekkie": Kees the ape Gekkie gives milk from his mouth.
