You choose between 3 threaded shaft lengths. (The options are listed below) The motor is a silent high torque, it does not tick or step gear, it is a quiet continuous motor.
The motor case is 2-1/8" sq x 5/8" thick. *Options* 1/4" threaded shaft, total length is 5/8" including hand stem.
7/16" threaded shaft, total length is 13/16" including hand stem.
9/16" threaded shaft, total length is 15/16" including hand stem.

Shaft length is a brass threaded portion that must pass through your clock face, leaving a couple of threads to mount the retaining nut. (ex., if working with a 1/4" tile as your clock face....then order a 7/16" or 9/16" threaded shaft) MEASURING DIAL FOR HAND SIZE: measure from the top of #12 to the bottom of #6, and divide it in half.
