Interesting piece of antique bobbin lace whose purpose I’m not quite sure of. 

Handmade of ivory linen, the length varies in width, with an attached frill at the narrow end. This frill is a different pattern. 

The scalloped edges are filled with wheels of tallies. The design includes 2 crosses within circles.  

Good antique condition, with some discolouration - has not been washed. 

Length approx 76 cm + 5 cm frill. Width 7 cm - 16 cm.
