 How Does the iTrack2500GPS Work?

The unit uses GNSS technology (GPS, GLONASS & Galileo), offering global coverage, high accuracy, and fast location fixes, even in hard-to-reach areas or when satellites are obstructed.

To function, the device needs a GSM SIM card with SMS and/or data. There are two ways to track:

1. Live Tracking via App/Web Platform (Uses Data)

• The tracker sends real-time location updates to our iCustodian® server.
• Log in using the iCustodian® Tracking App (iOS/Android) or PC software to view the current and historical location of your vehicle.
• Requires Access to our tracking server.  Minimum subscription is 12 months.

2. SMS Tracking (Data Needed)

• Simply send a text message like 6690000 (where 0000 is your password) to the SIM card inside the device.
• You’ll receive an SMS reply with a Google Maps link showing your vehicle’s location.
• Perfect if you want a no-subscription, low-cost tracking method.

 Easy Installation – No Technical Skills Needed

The tracker is pre-configured before shipment. Just:

• Connect the red wire to the positive terminal of your battery or a live fuse.
• Connect the black wire to the vehicle’s chassis or battery ground.
• Insert a GSM SIM card with SMS and/or data.
• Download the iCustodian® Tracking App and start monitoring.

You can also install the included relay for remote fuel/power cut-off, allowing you to disable the engine by SMS in case of theft or unauthorized use.
