There are Sellers here on eBay selling similar connectors for both speaker and power plugs for PPI Amplifiers. Those Sellers are showing plugs with a ?scalloped? edge and without Gold Plating on the connector shell. PPI NEVER, EVER sold or used this connector. Genuine PPI Connectors have always been Gold Plated Sockets and never had a scalloped edge. Additionally, Genuine PPI connectors will ALWAYS have the lettering ?PPI?, the PPI Logo called the?bug? and labeled connection wiring. The scalloped edge, non-Gold plated connectors have a different Pin-to-Pin distance and are difficult to insert onto a Genuine PPI Amplifier. Sometimes takes a mallet. Those scalloped connectors were used on ADS Technologies and Orion Amplifiers, and NEVER on any PPI Amplifier. What I can tell you, is that ADST purchased Precision Power when Phase Audio LLC drove(they took control of PPI in a leveraged Buyout) PPI into bankruptcy. ADST began selling PPI Amplifiers along with their ADST and Orion Brands. When ADST stopped paying suppliers when they too got into financial difficulty, they then substituted the ADST/Orion connectors for the Correct PPI connectors. This was not approved by Engineering(I was then VP of Engineering at ADST) and was instead a Production decision. This was only done for a short period of time.
Don?t be fooled! They DO NOT correctly fit any amplifier PPI ever made. They only ?sort of fit?. I should know, I was PPI?s Quality Control & Test Engineer for ~15 years and was the last VP of Engineering at ADS Technologies which purchased PPI in ~1998. I was the only PPI Engineer ADST retained.
BTW, those scalloped edge speaker and power plugs were made by WECO. They recently stopped producing them as well. The speaker plug connector is WECO P/N: 374-STFB/05. Don?t remember the power connectors WECO P/N. WECO was the Manufacturer that made the Original PPI ART Series Plugs. It was custom made exclusively for PPI. Just recently WECO stopped producing those scalloped edge connectors.

Provenance
These came from the late great Precision Power Inc. , where really high end Mobile Audio Stereo Gear was created. Twin brother and I were both Engineers at PPI. These come from his stock of PPI items purchased at auction when PPI was sold to ADST. The last photo shows my bona fides.
Notes
The Speaker Connectors Socket Bore is ~.163 inches in Diameter. Wire with a diameter less than this may also be used.
The Wire Ferrule Crimp Tool is an IWISS HSC8 6-6. You can use any Wire Ferrules. They will make your install clean, reliable and solid.
