1. Can you color match the Harley Sharkskin Blue for the sliders and bolt covers?
Sorry, we currently only offer the standard color options — color matching is not available for sliders or bolt covers.

2. Will these work with your stretched bags?
Yes, they will work with stretched bags.

3. Do the rear guards work with extended side covers that curve over the saddlebags?
No, the saddlebag guards are not compatible with extended side covers.

4. Do you offer highway pegs? I’m 5’10” and use my factory engine guard for comfort.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer highway pegs at this time. But the bars can be used as highway pegs. If you would prefer them to be longer, we also offer extensions to the bars.

5. Will these fit Softail models?
No, these are not compatible with Softail models.

6. Are there any issues with shock length? I ride a 2022 Road King Special with stock shocks.
No worries — the Protek Saddlebag Guards will work with your factory shocks without clearance issues.

7. Will the Protek Rear crash bars fit a 2023 Road Glide Special with OEM CVO stretch bags and Advanblack stretched side covers?
Sorry, they do not work with stretched side covers.

8. What’s included in the kit?
Each kit includes: ● Crash bar ● 4 sliders ● Full hardware set ● Saddlebag support bracket for added strength and protection

9. What’s the benefit of the Two-Step design?
The Two-Step design offers dual-level protection: ● The upper bar protects the engine area ● The lower bar shields saddlebags and side covers This helps minimize damage in tip-overs or low-speed drops.

10. What kind of steel is used in the crash bar?
We use premium mild steel, chosen for its ideal balance of strength, durability, and flexibility — it’s strong enough for protection and absorbs impact without cracking.

11. Will the powder-coated finish chip or rust over time?
The finish is a high-quality powder coat that resists chips, rust, and fading under normal use. Regular cleaning and avoiding deep scrapes will help preserve the finish in the long term.

Returns will be accepted within 14 days upon delivery. If for any reason you would like to return an item, please contact us within 14 days.
 
Please note due to the custom-made nature of our products, a 20% restocking fee will be charged for all returns. The customer is also responsible for all shipping costs during the return process.
 
Order Cancellation
 
An order can only be canceled before it is shipped, if you would like to cancel your order, please do so within 48 hours after placing it and it will be free of charge.
 
Please note due to the custom-made nature of our products, any orders canceled after 48 hours and within 3 weeks will be charged a 10% cancellation fee, and all cancellations after 3 weeks will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
 
Please Note:
1) Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or damages caused by the user.
2) The original item needs to be returned before a replacement can be shipped.
3) All returned items need to be unused and in their original packages.
4) Important: Please make sure to include the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number that is provided to you for your returns on the outside of the package in a visible area.
5) Please do not ship back any products without our prior approval. Doing so may delay or jeopardize your return/exchange process.
6) Please allow up to 14 days for us to process the return and issue a refund once the return is delivered.
