For sale is a single authentic 1 yen banknote from Japan from 1946. Each bill will be randomly selected and will be in uncirculated condition. I have examined these under a microscope and confirmed that they are authentic. Please note that banknotes from Japan from this era did not use standard serial numbers, but rather they were made with multiple plates that had the same serial number. Therefore multiple banknotes can and do have the same serial number. In this case, the entire uncirculated bundle of these that I have has the same number.
