Prismatic cut glass shade emulating the Fresnel
Lens encased in a representation of lighthouse
structural features such as; upper bronze bonnet
with top bronze finial (not ventilated), lantern
gallery protected by six lockable bronze pillars,
service space at the base of the gallery where
bronze bulb holder representing the lantern
base is located
- Beautiful
original two-stage Natural Rouge Royal Marble
Corinthian column with a decorative mid-stage
cornice, and a highly ornamental capital

Square raised bronze base with a decorative
feature band and four staged claw feet

Fitted with an early 1930s Ivory Bakelite “Crater”
inline switch; these are the most sought after
of all inline switches by far!

Professionally rewired in period match three-core
fabric-braided 0.75mm twist cable, earthed,
tested, and in perfect working order

Manufacturing foundry seal, Deposé (registered
design) stamp and serial number are all embossed
into the base

Original 1920s "CLANG" three-round
pin brown Bakelite plug with heavy brass terminal
locks, early cord grip system

This
fine Rare piece is in great period condition
with charming aging patina and no known faults,
and level of age-related wear commensurate with
its 170+ years of service. Small hair line in
the bronze mid-stage cornice, which is no hindrance
to safety or performance, in fact it adds age
authentic character feature to the lamp.
