Celebrating Hawaii’s surf and aloha spirit

This Swatch Destination Art timepiece was created in collaboration with local Hawaii artist Nick Kuchar. The multi-colored dial features a special calendar wheel that subtly changes the color of the surfers' swimsuits daily. Dark green hour and minute hands with glow-in-the-dark effect and a white seconds hand point to the time under the biosourced glass. The matte turquoise biosourced case is complemented by a matching strap with multi-colored print and matching loop with dark turquoise print. A matte turquoise buckle completes the watch.

Nick’s surf-inspired design captures Hawaii’s essence, wrapping the watch and packaging in coastal imagery. From North Shore waves to sailing canoes, ‘iwa birds, coconut palms, and sea life, HAWAI‘I NEI, reflects the islands’ natural beauty through the artist's creative style.


Nick Kuchar is an Oʻahu-based artist known for his vintage-style surf and travel art. Inspired by Hawaii’s landscapes, he blends sketches, photos, acrylics, and digital illustration.
