Original factory part, for instrument panel lower flange to cowl inner panel brace use. Formed steel rod, it gets mounted between the dash lower structure just left of glove-box hinge and the upper rearward cowl. In good shape w/ clean threads, still shows some bright metal, includes special (1) hex-head screw w/ captive washer. From a ’70 Metuchen SportsRoof w/ 4-speed & PDB, it also suits ’69 as well as all power-trains and body styles, however ’67 / ’68 is different. It’s an OEM Ford item w/ the correct form & fit for a Shelby GT350 & GT500 / mach 1 / Boss 302 & Boss 429 / Twister Special / GT / Grande / Deluxe convertible.
