The FHC Glendale Adjustable Wall Mount Hinge with Full Back Plate is designed for use in residential bath and commercial hotel applications utilizing monolithic tempered safety glass. This adjustable hinge is wall mounted and requires a cutout, featuring a square profile. It is constructed from solid brass with a HD stainless steel back plate and has a polished chrome finish. The hinge accommodates glass thickness from 3/8" to 1/2" (10mm to 12mm). The closing type is self-centering within 15 degree of the closed position, and the hinge angle is 135 degree. Key dimensions include a back plate height of 3-1/2" (89mm), a back plate width of 2" (50mm), an overall hinge height of 3-1/2" (89mm), an inner depth of 7/16" (11mm), and a hinge projection of 2-3/16" (56mm). The maximum door weight capacity is 80 lbs with 2 hinges or 120 lbs with 3 hinges, supporting door widths up to 28" or 32" respectively. This adjustable hinge can be adjusted up to 90 degrees and can be adjusted after the door is installed by loosening the two Hex screws on the interior of the hinge center block until the desired closing location is set. The template provided is for standard 3/16" (5mm) glass-to-wall clearance. Installation requires tightening clamping screws by hand only; do not use power tools. For care, wipe dry daily and clean with a soft damp cloth and mild liquid cleaner, then rinse with warm water. If squeaking occurs, add a few drops of multi-purpose oil at the nylon washer/pivot.
