Also included in this listing is a souvenir spoon, 4.5”, stamped “1934 A Century of Progress” on the handle, and marked “Dirigold” on the back.
 Dirigold is a gold-looking metal developed by Carl Molin, a Swedish metallurgist in 1914, made from brass, copper, and he said about two percent gold dust.”

“A Century of Progress International Exposition was held in Chicago during the summers of 1933 and 1934 to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of the incorporation of the city of Chicago in 1833.”
