When purchasing an ECU, please include the following information in the order notes:
ECU part number
Any letters/suffixes shown at the end of the ECU number
Vehicle make and model
Engine code
Please also advise if you require any additional options, including:
Popcorn limiter (please specify RPM)
Launch control (please specify RPM)
EGR on or off
Deep idle
Lift off pops / antilag popcorn / lope idle
(These are available at extra cost via a separate listing.)
Turbo size and name
Important Notice – 1.9 TDI Models
The 1.9 TDI is fitted with a notoriously weak turbocharger which is highly prone to failure when operated beyond stock power levels. We therefore strongly recommend fitting a refurbished OEM turbocharger as an absolute minimum when installing a remapped ECU.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS LISTING TO BE TUNED IN PERSON TO ENSURE YOU'RE HAPPY WITH THE SMOKE OUTPUT

Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date received.
If you believe there is an issue with the ECU, it must be returned within 7 working days for inspection and testing. Once checked, the ECU will be returned to the customer.
The customer is responsible for all return postage costs.
Postage
All orders placed before 2pm are shipped the same day.
Orders placed through eBay are shipped using the postage option selected at checkout.
Direct orders through JBPerformance7 placed before 2pm are shipped the same day via Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked & Signed service.

Any use of this product on a different vehicle or configuration is entirely at the user’s own risk. JB Performance 7 accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or adverse consequences arising from incorrect application or installation.
The user acknowledges that variations in vehicle setup, components, maintenance, or condition may lead to unintended outcomes, including but not limited to mechanical or electrical damage when this product is used outside its intended specification.
Vehicle remapping places additional stress on certain components, including but not limited to:
Clutch
Turbocharger
Fueling system
This may expose or worsen existing wear or weaknesses, potentially resulting in component failure.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is in good mechanical condition and suitable for remapping. By purchasing and fitting this remapped ECU, the buyer accepts full responsibility for the condition and suitability of the vehicle.
JB Performance 7 accepts no liability for any damage to vehicles, components, or persons resulting from the installation or use of this product.
All quoted performance gains are approximate and may vary between vehicles.
Due to the nature of bench ECU remapping, fault codes may need to be cleared upon installation.
