I inherited this lovely mink coat. I would keep it, but it is too short in the arms for me. I have long arms!
The mink fur looks great!
The top button and button hole are fine. You would use this button if you put the collar up.
The top hook (located at about the waist) is missing and there is a 3/4" rip where it used to be (4th picture from the end). The loop for that hook is fine.
The bottom hook and loop are fine.
Right pocket has come loose from lining and needs mended. It is still partially attached.
Left pocket is attached but needs mended because the seam is coming undone.
Last 3 pictures show pockets.
The lining looks great. It does have the initials "LLB"
Measurements:
Shoulder seam to bottom of coat, with the coat laid flat = 40 inches
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back, with the coat laid flat = 19 inches
Arm pit to arm pit across the back, with the coat laid flat = 21 inches
Shoulder seam to bottom of cuff, with the coat laid flat = 22 inches
Arm width, with the coat laid flat = 8 inches
Across the waist, with the coat laid flat, and the hook in the loop = 24 inches
Across the bottom of the coat, with the coat laid flat, and the hook in the loop = 29 inches
I wear a size 8 and the arms are about 1.5 inches too short. Shoulders are perfect. The rest of the jacket is very roomy on me!
Coat weighs over 5 pounds!
