Antique 19th century Chinese Nanking crackle glaze famille verte rose charger depicts a fighting scene with armoured warriors on horseback, engaged in combat, with banners and other elements of a battlefield scene. Beautiful (unusually) red & green enamel-painted scroll florals on the back of the charger.
Condition: two layer glaze nibbles to rim hardly noticeable unless you run your finger over (see magnified photo), otherwise perfect.
Size: 31cm diameter and 5cm high.
