This is the genuine issue chest rig (NSN: 8465-01-581-5668) designed for incredible versatility on the battlefield. It serves a dual purpose: wear it as a standalone chest rig using the included H-harness for a lightweight, high-mobility setup, or unclip the harness and use the integrated straps to mount it directly onto your plate carrier (such as the MTV or SPC), instantly adding a full loadout to your body armor.
The TAP panel is ready to go right out of the box with six integrated magazine pouches that fit standard M4/M16 magazines (or similar-sized items), plus two larger outboard pouches on each end for radios, GPS units, or other essential gear. The back of the panel features two mesh admin pockets for maps and documents. This listing includes the complete and often-missing repair kit, ensuring you have all the necessary buckles and straps for any configuration.
