DESCRIPTION
The FHC Carolina Pony Wall Mount Hinge for 3/8" or 1/2" Glass is a wall mount hinge designed for securing shower doors in Residential Bath And Commercial Hotel Applications. The main body is constructed from Brass material with a Back Plate made of Stainless Steel, and it features a Matte Black finish. This hinge uses a Pony Wall Mount type installation and is compatible only with Tempered Glass, supporting thicknesses ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" using specific glazing gaskets a Thick Gasket for 3/8" glass and a Thin Gasket for 1/2" glass. The hinge mechanism employs a Self-Centering Within 15 Degrees Closed Position and adheres to a Standard Closing Position. Critical dimensions include a Hinge Height of 3-15/16", a Hinge Width of 2-5/16", a Back Plate Width of 2-1/8", and a Back Plate Height of 1-5/8". The required Glass Gap is 7/16". For door support, it handles a Maximum Door Weight of 110 lbs with 2 hinges or 140 lbs with 3 hinges, with a Maximum Door Width of 36" for both configurations. The unit includes the Hinge, Glazing Gaskets, Wall Mounting Screws, Hex Head Screws, Cross Head Cover Plate Screws, and a Fabrication Template.
