Samantha, a travel writer suffering from agoraphobia, claustrophobia and a whole lot of romance-related phobias, watches as her psychologist suffers a major mental meltdown and is carted away. Instead of terminating her therapy, Sam turns the tables, taking over the psychologist's office and deceptively takes on her two brand new patients... her irresistibly hunky neighbour who needs a little help with his girlfriend and the affable, eccentric magazine salesman. Absurd actions, chaotic neuroses and raging libidos add up to a thoroughly screwball comedy as Samantha literally plays 'doctor' to the men in her life.
