This beautiful emerald green 8” x 6” vase is an original piece from the mid 20th century, and features a unique hour glass shape with a textured crinkle hobnail finish. Made in the United States during the 1960s-1970s, and stamped on the bottom is the renowned brand - “E. O. BRODY CO. CLEVELAND, O. U.S.A.” They were the primary distributors of glassware to the floral industry across North America. Interestingly, the glass itself was actually made by Indiana Glass Company, and then distributed by EO Brody.

Since those days, the two companies together have become part of Anchor Hocking.

This vase is is a wonderful representation of 1970s style, and looks even more beautiful with the sun shining through it.

(I saw it selling on Chairish.com for $88!)
