Compatible with DQ500 gearboxes usually in the 8V1 RS3, however does not fit any Transporter models with the DQ500 gearbox.
This unit fits VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda DQ200 / DQ250 / DQ381 DSG vehicles from 2013 to 2022.
Q: What is the difference between this bundle [ETB3446] and ETB3445?
A: ETB3446 uses the 5Q0713128A switch [newer MQB specification], while ETB3445 uses the 3Q0713128 switch. Both include the 8V0713169 sleeve. Check which part number is fitted to your vehicle.
Q: Why do I need the sleeve as well as the switch?
A: The sleeve prevents the selector gator boot from jamming the switch again after replacement, which is the root cause of the fault recurring.
Q: Black or white version — how do I check?
A: Remove the gear selector trim panel and inspect the switch colour directly. The version cannot be determined from the registration or VIN.
Q: Does the 5Q0713128A also fix DQ381 and DQ500?
