This product was developed following years of experience in the AVL industry dealing with hot patching audio consoles. Hot patching audio consoles is no longer required.

PTOG4 is constructed with .080" aluminum and is a 3RU panel. The precision and durability of these panels make them ideal for professional audio setups. Designed to withstand rigorous use, the black powder coating ensures longevity while maintaining a sleek aesthetic. Complemented by UV-printed decals and lettering, the panels exhibit a blend of functionality and style that caters to demanding environments. With attention to both build quality and operational performance, these products exemplify reliability in the field of sound engineering. The PTOG4 is a four-channel audio mixing console switch. PTOG4 does not require AC power and is audio signal path only.

Four main input channels with four inputs per channel FXLR. Independent mute toggle and channel selection rotary. Four main outputs rear panel 6ft fanout to MXLR inline connectors.

• ·       The PTOG4 can be placed at FOH or Monitor World. Depending on how the PA system and consoles are wired. Insert the PTOG4 into the system wiring before powering on the PA.
• ·       LEFT-CHANNEL, RIGHT-CHANNEL, SUB-CHANNEL and FILL-CHANNEL.
• ·       Console #1 will be inputs, LEFT-1, RIGHT-1, SUB-1 and FILL-1.
• ·       Console #2 will be inputs, LEFT-2, RIGHT-2, SUB-2 and FILL-2.
• ·       Console #3 will be inputs, LEFT-3, RIGHT-3, SUB-3 and FILL-3.
• ·       Console #4 will be inputs, LEFT-4, RIGHT-4, SUB-4 and FILL-4.
• ·       MUTE toggle per channel, arrows indicate ACTIVE in the up position. INACTIVE in the down position.
• ·       Channel selection rotary, LEFT-1, RIGHT-1, SUB-1 and FILL-1 ACTIVE console #1. Channel selection rotary, LEFT-2, RIGHT-2, SUB-2 and FILL-2 ACTIVE console #2. Channel selection rotary, LEFT-3, RIGHT-3, SUB-3 and FILL-3 ACTIVE console #3. Channel selection rotary, LEFT-4, RIGHT-4, SUB-4 and FILL-4 ACTIVE console #4
• ·       Output Channels on the rear panel, 6ft four channel fanout to MXLR. LEFT, RIGHT, SUB, and FILL indicated by letters L,R,S,F. connect directly to the PA system provided.

 

Console switching:

Let's say we have finished with console 1 and we are ready to switch audio consoles. When switching from console to console it is best to fade out program music on console 1. Then MUTE all Channel outputs in the up position (ACTIVE) of the Left, Right, Sub, and Fill. Then switch the selection rotary to Channel 2 of the LEFT-2, RIGHT-2, SUB-2, and FILL-2. Once rotaries are switched turn all MUTE toggles off-down position and fade in console 2 program music. Follow this step for channel 3 and 4. Quick & Easy.
