This vintage 1967 Truetone Rock-Star guitar,
sold by Western Auto, and manufactured by Hoshino Gakki,
is a great little guitar. It has that classic Jaguar inspired body
with a transparent cherryburst and black finish.
You can even see the natural wood grain through the red.

There are some fine line cracks in the finish only, due to the instrument's age
the expansion and contraction of the wood, dampness or dryness of climate.
This is common in many of this period's guitars.
It doesn't affect the sound or the playability at all.

The headstock shape is similar to a Kawai, not that usual Strat copy,
which also adds to the guitar's character.

The pickguard has been polished, and looks practically new.
It has a single pickup, measuring around 5.24 ohms.
The guitar's got some muscle for sure.
1 volume and 1 tone control, fixed tailpiece, semi-adjustable bridge.

Everything on the guitar is original.

All the electronics work perfectly. They have been checked and tested,
and any wiring issues have been attended to,
while always preserving the original integrity of the guitar.

The entire guitar has been meticulously cleaned and polished,
including all the chrome and metal hardware.

The frets have lots of life in them.
The neck is nice and straight, and the truss rod works.

Comes with a padded gig bag.
Thanks for looking!
