Arca and Manfrotto 501 plates have become ubiquitous industry standards for mounting cameras to tripods and other equipment. With the Ronin S series gimbals, DJI has popularized the combination of an Arca receiver on top of a Modified 501 plate. While this works perfectly well for their gimbals, it has little additional application. DJI’s plate also requires a very specific, non-standard size Arca plate to accommodate its clasping mechanism and height clearance.

At Kondor Blue, our philosophy is to make products as simple and universal as possible. As such, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind Arca to 501 plate. This feature rich plate combination will provide much more value and versatility than simply a gimbal quick release plate.

The Arca receiver orientation can be rotated to be parallel or perpendicular to the 501 plate. This becomes especially advantageous when combined with our line of mirrorless cages that feature Arca quick releases from the cage with the Arca plate oriented parallel to the lens.

The 501/Arca Pivot Plate can also be used with standard 501 tripod heads and includes all of the expected anti-slip safety features. * You can even remove the Arca receiver and use it as a standalone receiver as well, and can be mounted via ¼” 20 bolts. The 501 plate can also be used on its own and features a 2” slot and anti-slip pads to keep your camera securely attached.

With a 4mm built-in hex key, ultra-smooth bearing-guided closure, and laser etched measurements, 4x 4mm front attachment mounts, the Kondor Blue 501/Arca Pivot Plate has all you need to streamline your quick release plate needs.
